A Small
Ranch With Outstanding Llamas |
|
Fallen Oak Ranch is a llama
ranch located in the beautiful Northern California foothills. We have been
raising llamas since 2001. We have a
variety of Argentine, Bolivian, and Chilean
purebreds & crosses. We
are proud of our herd. Our llamas are of good conformation and are bred
for an amazing demeanor. We believe our overall herd is second to none. We
do not follow current fads, we breed for a solid, correct llama with
amazing personalities. |
Fallen
Oak started with a variety of llama types. Though still breeding
outstanding llamas of different types, the main focus has changed to the
rare Argentine & Argentine crosses. We proudly show all types of our llamas
and do well!
In twenty one years of showing, the llamas have done
quite well. We have had many, many Grand and Reserve Champions. Fallen Oak
has taken a break from showing in most of 2017 through 2020.
Our llamas have been to/or qualified for Nationals in 2002
through 2019. PFO Lakota did VERY WELL at Nationals in 2007 & 2008. He
placed Reserve National Class Champion / Divisional Top 3 in 2007. Lakota
was National Class Champion / Divisional Top 5 in 2008. Argentine Midnight Amarula placed National Class Champion / Divisional Top
5 in 2011. In 2014, PFO Mayfair Tewa was Western Regional Grand Champion
& National's Class Champion!
Fallen Oak was proud to be the home to
Argentine Corvo. He passed away in May of 2015. Corvo was a full Argentine import. Corvo is, by far, one of the rarest Argentine
bloodlines. All of Corvo's full Argentine daughters have been kept at
Fallen Oak.

The direction of Fallen Oak has changed in late 2016. I am going
back to the basics of what made this ranch successful... conformation and
behavior. Though still breeding Argentines, I cut back on llamas.
I had fun in 2019.
